Kip Hunter Opens Fort Lauderdale Marketing Firm
Kip Hunter is the President and Founder of Kip Hunter Marketing, a full service brand marketing, advertising and special events firm located in Ft. Lauderdale.
After six years of serving as the in-house President of Marketing for Levinson Jewelers, Hunter opened her own firm in August of 2007 focusing on strategic and brand marketing for a variety of South Florida companies. Located in Fort Lauderdale at 401 East Las Olas Blvd. inside the Bank of America Building, the client roster includes Levinson Jewelers in Plantation, as her exclusive jewelry client; the prominent Law Firm, Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler; Riley McDermott’s Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale; CNL Bank; SDC Appliances; Green Secure Solutions; Bova Ristorante and Mario’s of Boca in Boca Raton.

Hunter has over 25 years of experience in brand development, marketing, advertising and special event experience in the retail, corporate, sports, entertainment and charity arenas. While at Levinson Jewelers, Hunter successfully developed the Live Life…Levinson Style Campaign featuring Levinson spokes-couple Dan and Claire Marino and several other well-known personalities. In addition, she orchestrated the creation of The Diamond CEO Awards, in partnership with the South Florida Business Journal, and The Gems of Ft. Lauderdale event, honoring Broward County’s most dedicated female philanthropists.
She has received industry recognition as “Woman of the Year in Corporate Communications” from the Atlantic Florida Chapter of Women in Communications; recently was awarded a “Building our Community” Award in Communications by the March of Dimes; was a finalist for “Corporate Executive in Advertising & Marketing” at the Business Woman of the Year Awards presented by the South Florida Business Journal and led the Levinson team that was honored as “Retail Marketer of the Year” at the Town & Country Magazine Design Awards presented at the Couture Jewelry Collection & Conference, an event which brings together the most upscale fine jewelry retailers and designers in the industry.
In addition to her corporate charity endeavors, Hunter has many personal ties to the community. She chaired the 2007 Broward County Heart Ball themed “The Dazzling Diamonds Ball.” Hunter serves on the boards and committees of several community organizations including: the American Heart Association; 211 Broward; Footy’s Bubbles and Bones Gala to benefit Here’s Help’; WEL - Women in Executive Leadership; the Work/Life Balance Institute Advisory Board and the Rothstein Family Foundation.
Hunter began her career with Bass Tickets, the computerized ticketing company that was the predecessor to Ticketmaster in South Florida where she rose to President of the company; was a Vice President with The Miami Heat Basketball Team for seven years and prior to joining Levinson was the Vice President of Sales with Nutrio.com, an internet based weight loss and fitness company. A graduate of Florida International University, Hunter is a South Florida native and lives in Ft. Lauderdale with her husband Joey Epstein.
